J. Derenzo Company completed all site work for the development of the 233-unit senior
housing development at Squantum Gardens in Quincy, MA. Our work on the development, located
on Wollaston Beach on former Navy housing property, included the following:
- Excavation and site fills of about 60,000 cubic yards for the two building complex;
- Installation of over 10,000 feet of water, sewer and drainage lines;
- Installation of 67 precast concrete sewer and drainage structures;
- Excavation and backfill of about 2,300 feet of site lighting with light pole bases;
- Excavation and backfill of about 2,250 feet of electric ductbanks;
- Preparation work and installation of concrete sidewalks and pads;
- Installation of bituminous pavement for all parking and roadway areas;
- Street restoration including cold planing and bituminous asphalt overlay, and pavement markings.
