Mount Auburn Hospital West Building

J. Derenzo Company completed all excavation and site work for the new West Building of the Mount
Auburn Hospital. The work included the following:
- Excavation, site cuts and fills of approximately 23,000 cubic yards
- Design and installation of drilled soldier pile and lagging for temporary earth support of excavation;
- Design and installation underpinning of existing footings;
- Removal and relocation of existing utilities;
- Furnishing and installation of all new utilities including water, sewer and drainage;
- Excavation and backfill for site lighting with light pole bases;
- Finish site work including sidewalks, 3,000 linear feet of new curbing and bituminous pavement for all
parking and roadway areas.
