J. Derenzo Company completed the site work for IKEA’s new store in Stoughton, MA, including the
furniture store, a warehouse and parking garage. The site development included the following:
- Clearing and grubbing the 23 acre site;
- Drilling, blasting and processing on-site ledge;
- Excavation for the buildings and garage;
- Construction of block retaining walls around the perimeter of the development;
- Installation of three 20,000 gallon storage tanks
- Installation of all site utilities including sewer, water, and drainage;
- Completion of all site roadways and parking lots including curbing, pavement, guardrail and lighting
