From a newly built office headquarters in Brockton, MA to a state of the art garage, a cutting edge
materials processing yard and more, J. Derenzo takes great pride in our outstanding facilities including:
Headquarters
J. Derenzo constructed a new 20,000 square-foot office building at our Brockton location in 2005.
Constructed to meet the present and future needs of the company, the modern facility includes
state-of-the art computer networks to facilitate the growing technology needs of the company, along
with multi-media conference room facilities.
During the construction of the facility, J. Derenzo strived to incorporate green building techniques.
All granular backfill and subbase pavement materials consist of recycled asphalt and concrete processed
at our site. In addition, all roof runoff from the office and adjacent garage facility is directed to
an underground storage tank where it is stored for reuse for dust control at the construction yard and
irrigation for the site landscaping. This minimizes our dependence on the public water supply. The HVAC
system is both efficient and programmable to minimize energy use.
Garage
J. Derenzo maintains an 8,000 square foot heavy equipment repair garage facility at our Brockton
location. The garage, along with an adjacent small tools repair shop and a paint shop, provides all
necessary maintenance and repair for all J. Derenzo equipment. The facility employs 15 mechanics,
lube technicians and paint technicians who are industry certified. From simple routine maintenance to
the complete rebuilding of the largest of our equipment fleet, we have the ability to do it all.
Having this in-house capability allows J. Derenzo to maintain a cost and efficiency advantage over
our competitors.
Yard/Processing Facility
J. Derenzo operates a material processing facility at our Brockton yard. This facility can accept
and process clean asphalt, brick, concrete and rock materials for reuse. Operating this facility allows
us to provide a valuable service to our clients and cost-effectively reuse what would otherwise be waste
material, and assisting owners in obtaining LEED status for their projects. This operation also provides
materials for our site development services, again allowing us to offer cost savings to our clients, while
operating under environmentally positive practices.
Gerard Street, Boston
J. Derenzo maintains an office/garage/yard facility on Gerard Street in Boston with 5,000 square feet
of office space and 4,000 square feet of garage area. This facility allows us to efficiently stage material
and equipment for our jobs within the City that have area constraints. In addition, we maintain a fleet of
street sweepers and water trucks at this location, allowing us to service our projects within the metropolitan
Boston area quickly and on-demand.
